The threat of thunderstorms held off and it ended up being a beautiful day on June 18th for the Annual CHPTA & COPA Golf Tournament held at the Richmond Hill Golf Club in Richmond Hill, Ontario. After breakfast and an opportunity to warm-up on the range, golfers headed out to the course to enjoy a fun day of team scramble competition with colleagues, customers and industry peers. After the round, attendees were treated to a barbeque lunch followed by prize presentations to winners of the hole competitions and various draws that were held (see below list of winners).
Wine & Beer Raffle
New this year was an opportunity for attendees to bring a six-pack of beer or a bottle of wine to get entered into a raffle draw to win more beer & wine. Raffle tickets were also sold on site to get entered into the draws.
Some of the money raised during the day will help support the CHPTA’s Vaughn Crofford Memorial Scholarship Program available to children and grandchildren of employees of member companies.

Finally, we also gave a heartfelt goodbye to Pam Winter, who has been with the CHHMA/CHPTA for the past 19+ years working as an Event Coordinator and Office Administrator. This was Pam’s last event as she retired at the end of June. We would like to thank her for all her hard work and dedication to the Association over these many years. She will be missed by staff and membership alike but we wish her all the best in her retirement.
