Yes, we are definitely entering year three of a pandemic that is now expected to become endemic. The good news is, we’ve learned a lot about coping over the past two years.

Businesses have continued to adapt and readapt throughout the COVID-19 spread and the accompanying public health measures to curb it. 2022 is expected to bring more challenges as we kick off with lockdowns and closures across the country. With the ongoing uncertainty, it is essential that business leaders continue to arm themselves with a variety of tools to keep as agile as possible.

Knowledge is one of the most important tools a leader has in their kit. Issues around the geo-political economic climate, disruptions in the supply chain, new and emerging technologies, threats from online security breaches, decisions around on-site and remote work, managing change in a pandemic, taking care of your own and your employee’s health—all these factors can impact your decision making and the success of your business.

Enter COPA and CHPTA’s Making Waves Conference! The conference just started but will run until mid-February, covering all the issues listed above and more. You can check out the full list of speakers and topics on the event page or go straight to the registration page to pick and choose which seminars you want to attend. Keep in mind you can see all ten speakers for only $300 (plus HST). Feel free to reach out to ngamble@chpta.ca if you need help registering.

So, while we have no idea what is coming our way in 2022, if the past two years are any indication, we know it will have its challenges, and maybe even a few opportunities. Our aim is to equip the leaders in our industry with one of the most important tools you can have at your disposal. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from leading experts.

One more thing, we’d like to extend a special thanks to our Making Waves sponsors and partners:
