With remote work becoming more prevalent and an increasing number of workplaces changing to hybrid environments, it is understandable that what we know about workplace violence and harassment is also changing.Employers will need to be prepared to face new and changing forms of workplace violence and harassment and learn to manage these problems in remote and hybrid settings.
Taking a proactive approach to managing such problems will help organizations limit the negative effects they can cause. Also, leaders being experts in related company policies, procedures, and best practices while taking into consideration the impact of decentralized workplaces will help ensure workplace violence and harassment is handled properly and related hazards are minimized.
