A new poll by BMO indicates that 30% of Canadians plan to cut spending in 2025, and 46% believe the higher cost of living will impact their financial resolutions for the new year.
The report reveals that financial anxiety is primarily due to concerns about the overall financial situation and fear of unknown expenses, which account for 82% of financial anxiety.
The data was gathered from an online IPSOS panel of 3,404 people from Sept. 2 to 14. The poll cannot be assigned a margin of error as online surveys are not considered truly random samples.
