Imperial Manufacturing Group (IMG) has acquired Dundas Jafine, a renowned manufacturer of air distribution products, effective May 1, 2025. The acquisition strengthens IMG’s venting and flexible duct category by adding manufacturing capacity and increasing its product offering.
Dundas Jafine, established in 1934 by the Jafine family, has expanded its HVAC product offering and customer base through new equipment and strategic acquisitions. The acquisition aligns perfectly with IMG’s strategy of becoming North America’s Supplier of Choice for Air Distribution Products, as it consolidates knowledge and experience to support product improvement and customer service. This marks IMG’s fourth acquisition in the beginning of the decade.
Dundas Jafine President David Jafine expressed excitement about joining IMG, stating that this partnership represents a significant milestone in their 90-year history. Mr. Jafine will remain with the company for the next six to twelve months to ensure a smooth transition to new ownership, while the current Dundas Jafine management team will continue managing and operating the business in collaboration with IMG.
