Since its inception in 1979, the company has grown from a local operation into a key player in the HVAC and building products industries servicing both wholesale and retail channels. Imperial has over 1,200 employees working in more than 1.4 million square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space spread throughout Canada and the US.
Strategic Acquisitions and Partnerships
Strategic acquisitions and partnerships led the company to establish new production facilities and expand its distribution network across North America. Leveraging its manufacturing expertise, Imperial successfully entered new markets with products like steel studs, floor registers, aluminum railing, and general and dryer venting. More recently, acquisitions have included 2 steel service centres, expanding IMG’s capability to become a processor and distributor of high-quality flat rolled steel products.
