2023 Annual (12 months) Import ReportThe latest CHPTA MONTHLY BUSINESS CONDITIONS REPORT for April 2024 is now out.

A new report is made available at the end of each month to members of the Canadian Home Products Trade Association (no charge) and other paid subscribers.

The goal of this report is to provide an early warning of market, price and cost changes that can adversely affect your business. The report focuses on data from several key areas:

  1. Labour Data
  2. 2Retail Sales
  3. Wholesale Sales
  4. Product Imports
  5. Foreign Exchange Rates
  6. Diesel Fuel Rates

Each month, we also host a free webinar via Zoom to review the latest report and solicit feedback from readers on how the report can be improved even further and what other data companies would like to see reported. The next such webinar is taking place on Wednesday, May 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. ET.  Click here to register for this session.

Also, being released later this month for our members is the 2023 Annual (12 months) Import Report.  Our import reports provide extensive data covering value, quantities, and country of origin for a number of product categories represented by CHPTA members. Later in the second half of the year, we will publish the 2024 Semi-Annual (6 months) Import Report.

We hope you are seeing value in these CHPTA reports and they are of help to your operations.

If you are a non-member and would be interested in possibly receiving the Monthly Business Conditions Report on a regular basis, please reach out to CHPTA President Sam Moncada at smoncada@chpta.ca.
